Why I Started Tech Tutorials for Teachers
I started Tech Tutorials for Teachers because I saw a big need for it in education. Technology was, and is, growing rapidly. Many educators are struggling to keep up with educational technology so I wanted to help them learn about this topic. Tech integration in the classroom is necessary to provide a full learning experience for students. I started Tech Tutorials for Teachers to help educators learn about EdTech tools and how to integrate them in their classrooms. About Me
My name is Ethan Ferguson, and I am currently a junior at Indiana University. I am majoring in Secondary Education with a focus in Mathematics and a License Addition in Computer Education. I have a passion for teaching students in an innovative way. Math is a subject many students struggle with, and I want to help them learn the topic in a new and better way. I also want to be a part of teaching a newer subject. Technology is an increasingly growing field, and we need to teach students the skills necessary to be a part of that growth. Many studies show that jobs our students will have one day do not exist yet. Many jobs in the future will be centered around technology. I want to be a part of teaching this crucial skill to students.
I have a passion to help teachers of other subjects learn and teach technology skills. If we want to prepare students for technologically advancing world, we need to stay up to date with educational technology and make sure we integrate it in our classrooms. Tech Tutorials for Teachers is here to help teachers learn and use the skills they need to be putting in their lessons to help prepare students to use technology in the future.
